Even if you find the time to get to a local gym, you may find yourself waiting for a particular piece of equipment you want to use to become free, plus there are other distractions that will all eat into your available exercise time, such as making polite conversation with other gym members.

Exercise is obviously good for your health and regular use of your gym will help you to maintain your health and fitness levels.
There is actually another health aspect that needs considering too, which is that some public gyms can act as incubators for germs. Germs are so easily spread between people and anyone who is exercising alongside you who is not feeling well, or has a virus, could easily pass these germs on through coming into contact with the surface of an exercise machine they have been using.
Having your own gym equipment at home means you will probably be exercising in a cleaner environment where you know who has used your equipment.
A fitness plan that works
There are so many opportunities with your own gym, to create a fitness plan that really works and is easy to keep to because it has been designed just for you.
Developing a fitness and exercise routine that you can easily find the time to do in your own home and around your other work and family commitments, is something that you are likely to be far more motivated to sick with, compared to that easily forgotten local gym membership.
